Going down the Cape for the summer and wondering where you can eat? I’ve got you covered! This is something I know lots about. I’ve spent my whole life going down the Cape every summer. This list of restaurants are all places I’ve personally been to and know they’re delicious! So, keep reading for the best gluten free restaurants Cape Cod edition!
Best Gluten Free Restaurants Cape Cod
- Cafe Chew – 4 Merchants Road, Sandwich, MA 02563 – This is literally my favorite place to eat, maybe ever. They have a very long menu and have gluten free bread for any of their sandwiches, huge salads, with all GF dressings. Not to mention, a bakery with freshly baked GF desserts! Can’t recommend it enough!
- Crisp – 791 Main St. Osterville, MA 02655 – gluten free pizzas, pasta, frites, and salads! It’s amazing! You can find their menu here!
- Pilot House – 14 Gallo Rd, Sandwich, MA 02563 – Right on the water, serving seafood, salads, burgers- you name it! They even serve gluten free fish & chips, which is hard to find! Lunch menu & dinner menu.
- The Knack – 5 route 6a Orleans, ma and 1120 route 132 Hyannis, ma – “Burgers, lobster rolls, clam rolls, hot dogs, onion rings, shakes, ice cream…we love the Cape’s iconic food.” They have gluten free buns, and trust me, they’re delicious. I literally think about their homemade pickles more often than I’d like to admit. Menu can be found here!
- The Local – The Local Tavern & Grille 46 Route 6A Sandwich MA – This is a tavern type of restaurants with bar food, big tv’s, and a large menu! Their food is really good with lots of GF options!
- Wicked Restaurant – 35 South St Mashpee, MA 02649 – Basically everything on this menu is GF even their lobster Mac and Cheese can be made gluten free!
- Not Your Average Joe’s – 793 Iyannough Rd, Hyannis, MA, 02601 -They have an entire gluten sensitive menu, they also serve a bread and oil dip before your meal comes that’s worth the trip. You can request gluten free rolls and your own dipping oil!
- Crabapples – 553 Palmer Ave Falmouth, MA – They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can find their menu here!
- Tavern at Harbor Square – 1 Harbor Square, Nantucket, MA 02554 – I love their caprese salad, I’ve heard you can also get GF chicken fingers but I can’t say for sure. But, whenever I’m on Nantucket this is my go-to place for lunch and dinner! It’s a 3 minute walk from the Hy-Line ferry!
Don’t Forget About Ice Cream
Oh! You have to get ice cream at Twin Acres, it’s right down the street from Cafe Chew and the Local! I think, it’s the best ice cream on the cape, and they serve gluten free ice cream cones! [21 Route 6A Sandwich, MA 02563]
In this post, I made sure to include my top favorites on this list! Now, clearly there are plenty of other delicious restaurants on the Cape that have gluten free menus/options. But, I wanted to share my personal favorites that I know for a fact have gluten free options and are all so good!
