Gluten Free at Taco Bell
Taco Bell surprisingly has a good blog about which of their foods are not made with gluten.
However, it does state – “*Taco Bell® does not claim “gluten-free” for any of its food. Some Taco Bell® items are made without gluten-containing ingredients but are prepared in common kitchen areas, including common fryer oil, risking gluten exposure. Taco Bell® does not recommend products for customers with celiac disease. Customers with gluten sensitivities should exercise judgment when ordering.“
Here are 5 of their favorite items they recommend when avoiding gluten.
- Power Menu Bowl – Chicken, Steak, or Veggie
- Black Beans and Rice
- Crunchy Taco [You can even make it Supreme.]
- Hash Brown
- Doritos Locos Tacos
*Credit- for this picture that’s from Taco Bell’s blog about how to eat gluten free. They share this entire list of all of their products that are made gluten free! It makes it extremely convenient to be able to see what they offer that is made without gluten. But, like they said that it is not made in a gluten free kitchen. So, cross contamination is extremely possible.
In this post, I went over what is gluten free at Taco Bell. While writing this and researching what they have to offer I was actually surprised by some of their options. I wasn’t expecting them to offer much honestly. Obviously, the fact that cross contamination is an issue isn’t ideal for people with Celiac though. But, I hope this was helpful and there’s something on this list that’s appealing to you!
