What You Need To Make This Gluten Free Cookies and Cream Ice Cream
Okay so, if you’re on tiktok or instagram I’m sure you’ve seen the Ninja Creami trend recently! I feel like this thing has been everywhere, so we just bought one! And it does NOT disappoint.
I’m obsessed with cookies and cream ice cream and milkshakes but since there are Oreos in typical cookies and cream ice cream, I haven’t been able to have it! But, with the ninja creami, that all changed!
To make this ice cream at home you need
- 1 tablespoon (1/2 ounce) cream cheese
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- Gluten Free Oreo’s [you can find these at most grocery stores now with the regular oreos]
- The Ninja Creami
What Is The Ninja Creami?

It’s basically a soft serve ice cream machine. You can make Wendy’s Frosty’s at home, sorbet, cinnamon bun ice cream, milkshakes, you name it! The Ninja Creami might be a little bit of a splurge, but it comes with so many recipes, we have been loving it! Plus it’s all over tiktok where you can find a bunch of other ideas/recipes! I would say, the only downside is the mixtures have to freeze for 24 hours, so you kind of have to plan ahead – but it’s definitely worth it!
Gluten Free Cookies and Cream Ice Cream
Equipment
- Ninja Creami
- rubber spatula
- microwave safe bowl
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp cream cheese
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp gluten free vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 4 gluten free oreo's
Instructions
- In a large, microwave-safe bowl, microwave the cream cheese for 10 seconds. Add the sugar and vanilla extract and with a whisk or rubber spatula, combine until the mixture looks like frosting, about 60 seconds1 tbsp cream cheese, 1/3 cup granulated sugar, 1 tsp gluten free vanilla extract
- Slowly mix in the heavy cream and milk until fully combined and sugar is dissolved.3/4 cup heavy cream, 1 cup whole milk
- Pour base into an empty CREAMi® Breeze™ Pint. Place storage lid on pint and freeze for 24 hours.
- Remove pint from freezer and remove storage lid from pint.
- Select ICE CREAM.
- With a spoon, create a 1 1/2-inch wide hole that reaches the bottom of the pint. Add crushed up Oreos to the hole in the pint and process again using the MIX-IN program.4 gluten free oreo's
- When processing is complete, remove ice cream from pint and serve immediately.
- Enjoy!
