Everyone loves chips and dip, right? I’m not being dramatic when I say I bring this gluten free dip to every party/event I go to. And someone always asks for the recipe, and I’m giving it to you! It is probably the most highly recommended thing I make. Keep reading to find out you can make the BEST gluten free dip!

It is so easy to make, you’ll find yourself making it regularly. It’s a staple in our house, it always has been. My mom has been making this dip as long as I can remember. And I’m not kidding when I say everyone loves this dip.
Ingredients
- Cottage Cheese – small curd
- Sour Cream
- Hidden Valley Dry Ranch Mix
- Mayonnaise – Cain’s Mayonnaise
For a healthier alternative, instead of the sour cream – you can use plain Greek Yogurt. I’ve made it this way before and it still tastes delicious! I do think it tastes slightly different, but if this is your first time making this dip it won’t make a huge difference to you! Whole Greek Yogurt is closest in texture and flavor to regular sour cream.
I’m very particular when it comes to which ingredients I use. So that’s why I use the small curd cottage cheese. But, I’m probably most particular about the mayonnaise I use. So, if you’re in the northeast you HAVE to use Cain’s Mayonnaise – I don’t know what it is, but it’s just better that way. I don’t make the rules! But, if they don’t carry Cain’s in your local grocery store, you can buy it online at Walmart here!
Gluten Free Ranch Dip
Ingredients
- 16 Oz. Cottage Cheese – small curd
- 16 Oz. Sour Cream
- 1 Cup Mayonnaise
- 2 Packets Hidden Valley Ranch Dips Mix
Instructions
- In your bowl or airtight container – pour all the ingredients in and mix together. I like to start with the cottage cheese, then the sour cream, then the mayonnaise, and finish with the ranch mix.16 Oz. Cottage Cheese – small curd, 16 Oz. - Serve with chips and/or vegetables

What Do I Serve With This?
I like to serve this dip with chips. I think Ruffles are the best option. I also like to eat it with vegetables like mini carrots, cucumbers, broccoli, peppers, and cherry tomatoes. You could also enjoy this dip with gluten free crackers.
How Long Does This Dip Last?
I find that like most things, this dip tastes best when it’s fresh.
But, in an airtight container kept in the refrigerator this gluten free dip will be good for up to 5 days.
