There’s no place like Disney World. It’s the happiest place on Earth! I know it seems like it might be daunting to eat GF in a place like Disney, it’s not – but I’m here to help! Keep reading to find out all there is to know about eating gluten free in Disney!
Gluten Free in Disney
Luckily, going gluten-free at Disney World is easier now than it has ever been! But, as someone who has spent A LOT of time at Disney, I’m going to share my favorite places to eat and tips/tricks that I’ve learned and have helped me along the way!
- You can program your allergies into the MyDisneyExperience app, and it will recognize when to show you an allergen menu. This is usually found when you select the menu or a restaurant and scroll down to the bottom where it will be labeled for allergies.
- Always ask to talk to the chef, most of them are extremely helpful and will try their best to modify any items on their menu to make it gluten free. [the Chefs at Art of Animation hotel are amazing at this]
- Check the menus online ahead of time, if possible.
- Pack a few of your own favorite snacks. I always throw a couple bags of gluten free granola minis or something along those lines, just in case I’m starving! These are my favorite because they’re so convenient!
Gluten Free at Magic Kingdom
- Columbia Harbor House – Located in Liberty Square, close to the haunted mansion. They have a gluten/allergy friendly section of their menu. My go-to is their chicken fingers and fries, you can’t go wrong.
- Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant– Honestly, I feel like it’s rarely open anymore. It says on their website it’s seasonal – and they don’t have an online menu. But when it’s open, it’s a great place to eat!
- Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe– Located in Tomorrowland, this is another restaurant I choose to eat at frequently when I’m in the Magic Kingdom, close to the same menu options as Columbia Harbor House. But, most restaurants in Disney have basically the same options. They also have gluten/allergy section of their menu.
- The Crystal Palace – Located on Main Street U.S.A. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. [A reservation is needed in order to get in here!] They offer a gluten free menu upon arrival.
- Skipper’s Canteen – Can be found in Adventureland, this is a little more pricey than Cosmic Ray’s or Columbia Harbor House with different food options. It says on Disney’s website it’s African, Asian, and Latin food. They have a large selection of gluten friendly options!
- Liberty Tree Tavern – Can be found in Liberty Square, American family style food. They recommend talking to a chef, but they have a lot of good GF options on the menu as well!
GF Snacks at Magic Kingdom
- Citrus Swirl from Sunshine Tree Terrace it’s a frozen orange juice slushy swirled with vanilla soft serve ice cream.

- Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar– There’s nothing like eating a Mickey Ice Cream bar walking around the Magic Kingdom
- Popcorn – All standard Disney popcorn is gluten free.
*This is not a complete list of all GF restaurants or snacks at Magic Kingdom, just ones I personally recommend!
What’s Gluten Free at Epcot
There are a ton of restaurants in Epcot, especially because of the all restaurants in each Country. Most of them have gluten free options, but I want to share with you ones that I have personally been to and loved or have been highly recommended to me!
- Garden Grill– Located in the Land Pavillion, the restaurant serves their food family style, meaning that the servers will bring a serving platter to the table for you and your party to share. They offer gluten free BBQ roasted chicken, as well as GF stuffing. I’ll post their menu here!
- Biergarten Restaurant– Located in Germany, it’s a buffet style. They offer a cheat sheet so you can know which foods are safe for a gluten allergy! Some of the gluten-free items offered are pork tenderloin, rotisserie chicken, sauerkraut, soups, salads, potatoes, and some traditional German sausages.
- Connections Eatery– Located in World Celebration, it’s an American, quick service restaurant. They have a section of their menu dedicated to gluten free/allergy friendly foods. Most of their foods can be modified gluten free!
- Sunshine Seasons -Located in the Land Pavilion and it offers several gluten-free options. For lunch, you can find gluten-friendly versions of the Oak-grilled Rotisserie Chicken, the Oak Grilled Salmon, stir-fried Chicken, and the Power Salad.
- Regal Eagle Smokehouse– Located in the American Adventure Pavillion, Regal Eagle offers several gluten/wheat-friendly options such as the Memphis Dry Rub Pork Ribs, the Kansas City Smoked Half Chicken, The BBQ Burger, the BBQ Jackfruit Burger, the Sliced Texas Beef Brisket Sandwich, and more!
Gluten Free Snacks in Epcot
Luckily, EPCOT also has some great gluten-free snack options! Like I said above, the Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar and the standard popcorn around Disney World are considered gluten-free and can be enjoyed at tons of different locations around the park.
The Maple Popcorn from the Canada Pavilion Popcorn Cart is also gluten-free and adds a bit of variation from your normal Disney popcorn.
The Macarons from Les Halles are a delicious gluten free snack you can find in the France Pavilion.
The cheese plates at Les Halles are also gluten-free, [if you skip the baguette].
- Look for ice cream and sorbet flavors that may be gluten-free at L’Artisan des Glaces [France]
- Kakigori at Kabuki Cafe Japan [typically gluten free as well]
- Ask Cast Members where to find “Snacks With Character” — pre-packaged allergy-friendly snacks
Hollywood Studios: Gluten Free
I love Hollywood Studios, but to be completely honest, it’s not one of my favorite parks to eat at. I’m sure there are plenty of good restaurants, that offer gluten free options.
But, I usually stick to the quick service restaurants when I’m in Disney. Those are the restaurants where you order your food at a counter or use mobile order to order your food in advance, pick up your food, and take it to your own table.
- Backlot Express– Quick service, featuring Star Wars themed foods. They have your regular gluten free options, like cheeseburgers, chicken fingers, fries. There’s a dedicated gluten free section on their menu.
- Woody’s Lunch Box – Located in Toy Story Land. I’m obsessed with Toy Story so I just love to be in Toy Story Land. They offer a gluten free version of grilled cheese and tomato soup. You can find their menu here!
- ABC Commissary – Located on Commissary Lane. They offer gluten free chicken sandwiches, ham & cheese, Mediterranean Salad. Linking their menu here.
- PizzeRizzo – Located near MuppetVision 3D – This is a pizza place with gluten free pizza! Full menu here!
Gluten Free Snacks at Hollywood Studios
Woody’s Lunch Box has Totchos [tater tot nachos]. These are just classic tater tots covered in cheese, queso, sour cream, Fritos, and chili.
Toluca Legs Turkey Company– everyone at Disney loves an oversized Turkey leg, it’s not something my belly could handle, but they are gluten free!
Milk Stand in Galaxy’s Edge is one of the most popular snack stands. They serve the iconic Blue and Green Milk from the Star Wars films. These are plant-based frozen beverages that have a fruity flavor.
What’s Gluten Free at Animal Kingdom
Okay, when it comes to Animal Kingdom, I always eat at Rainforest Cafe. A lot of the foods that are offered at Animal Kingdom have a ton of spices in them. And even if they’re gluten free, I know my tummy – it’s gonna hurt me. So, I can’t risk that because nothing is getting in the way of me seeing the Elephants.
But, I’m still going to share some of the restaurants that do offer gluten free options, because even though spicy food isn’t for me – I know a lot of people love it!
- Flame Tree Barbecue– Located in Discovery Island, they offer gluten free ribs, pulled pork, chicken, hot dogs. You can find the full menu here!
- Harambe Market – African inspired foods, in an open air plaza. They offer gluten free rice bowls. Full menu here!
- Satu’li Canteen– Located in Pandora – the world of Avatar. They offer GF crispy tofu bowls, grilled chicken bowls, and grilled beef bowls. I’ll attach the full menu here, they have a section for gluten friendly options!
- Tusker House– This is a sit down restaurant, not quick service like the ones listed above. So, it’s probably best to have a reservation. Here’s their menu!
- Tiffins– Located in Discovery Island, this is also a sit down restaurant. A little bit on the pricier side, I’m sure a reservation would be helpful [if not required]. But, it looks like they have a large selection of gluten free options.
- Rainforest Cafe– I don’t think they have a gluten free section on their menu. I just always tell my server that I have a gluten allergy and they bring out the chef.
- Yak & Yeti– Located in Asia. They offer a paper GF menu upon arrival.

What’s Gluten Free at Disney Springs
- Raglan Road– I basically only go here when I’m in Disney Springs. They have the BEST gluten free fish and chips, and gluten free onions rings. So that’s my number 1 recommendation – I always try to have a reservation though! It’s an irish pub that fries their fish in champagne instead of batter to make it gluten free.
- T-Rex – This is my second favorite place at Disney Springs, it’s such a fun atmosphere. They also offer a gluten sensitive section of the menu. I still always tell my server so they can bring out the chef, because they can usually modify almost anything to make it gluten free.
- Paddlefish– This is the big boat that you see in Disney Springs, they have a ton of GF options!
- D-luxe Burger– This is a quick service restaurant, they offer a gluten friendly bun so you can enjoy burgers and chicken sandwiches. Full menu here!

- Blaze Pizza– This pizzeria allows you to create your own pizza starting with the crust and going through sauce and toppings. They offer a gluten-free crust, but- they use the same oven for all their pizzas and your gluten-free crust might come in contact with kitchen utensils that are used on the regular pizzas.
Gluten Free Snacks at Disney Springs
Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC – This sweets shop is a dedicated gluten-free and vegan bakery. They’ve got everything from cookies to cupcakes to cake and more. They also have seasonal snacks, so you might find something new on every visit!
You can order Dole Whip in a few different flavors at Swirls on the Water. The basic flavors are typically gluten-free, but if you get a float or toppings, make sure to ask if all the included ingredients are allergy-friendly.
Okay! So, that’s all my tips/recommendations for eating gluten free in Disney. I love Disney so much! I hope it was helpful for you and you enjoy your trip to Disney! It’s the happiest place on Earth! Disney hotels also have a ton of different GF options as well, so stay tuned for that post soon!
