Everyone loves a potluck, right? But, sometimes it can be hard to decide what to bring. Especially if you, the host, or someone attending has a gluten intolerance. So, to make it easier for you I’m going to be going over the best gluten free potluck ideas to take the pressure off of you!
What Is A Potluck?
If you’ve never been to a potluck or heard of one before, a potluck is when someone throws a dinner party and each guest brings something different to round out the meal. Whether it’s a main dish, side dish, cheese plate or dessert!
How Much Food Should You Bring?
You always want to consider the number of guests.
A good rule of thumb is to bring enough food to feed yourself and your group, plus a little extra. If you’re not sure how many people will be attending the potluck, it’s better to err on the side of caution and bring a bit more food than you think you’ll need.

You want to make sure whatever you choose to bring can serve a bunch of people but also doesn’t take too much effort for you to have to make it! So food like lasagna and crockpot meals are perfect for a potluck. You can also bring side dishes like roasted veggies, potato salad, and pasta salad are always easy to make. And if you’re in charge of dessert I’ll share a couple of my recipes as well as other gluten free dessert recipes!

Store Bought Gluten Free Potluck Ideas
If you don’t have time to cook, there’s plenty of store bought food that is acceptable to bring to a potluck. Cheese and gluten free crackers or veggie platters are a great addition. But, since we’re focusing on gluten free potluck ideas, we have to make sure anything we make or bring is gluten friendly.
My favorite gluten free crackers are CrunchMaster they come in a ton of different flavors! You can usually find them at your local grocery store either in the cracker aisle or near the deli [if you shop at Publix].
These crackers are delicious with Havarti Dill Cheese and Salami.
